1 Month Open!

A year ago, we started a journey to bring a new escape room experience to Plymouth, following in the footsteps of the success of Escapism Chester.

A month ago, Escapism Plymouth opened! A freshly painted Bretonside location, with a brand-new team, 3 highly rated rooms; Radioactive, The Missing, and Legacy; joined a week later by our brand-new room: Breadcrumbs.

We have been overwhelmed with positive reviews, with teams coming back again and again to try to complete every room and beat the records!

A must do experience

Having completed a few escape rooms else where a group of friends and I tried our very first escape room in Plymouth. We happened to stumble into Escapism on the day it opened, it is so easy to find and in an unbeatable location under the Barcode. We attempted Legacy, and without giving any spoilers it was tough, well executed and thoroughly engaging. It is a must for anyone who loves escape rooms, and a fun day out when it’s rainy in Plymouth! Joe is a wonderful helper and gave just the right clues when needed. Can’t wait to come back and try out their other rooms.

“The Missing”

Taken to this new venue by my family for a Father’s Day treat. We have done quite a few other escape rooms in Plymouth and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the venue and friendliness of the hosts. The back story for “The Missing” was brilliantly put across to us to add to the challenge. Can’t wait to try the other three rooms with three more to come in the new year, a great place come rain or shine, and in our opinion well priced.

Best story and Clues

The whole experience was amazing from the moment we went in. We did the room radioactive ??, the story of the room and the design of the room was great. Very well laid out room and the activities and clues are clever. We did it with 6 people and we all busy doing something. Definitely will be going back. Best story and clues in an escape room yet!!

My Husband and I were in Plymouth as part of our honeymoon, we had been our seen all the sights, tours etc and wanted to do an activity. we chose right with escapism. very fun, lots of teamwork needed, the brains behind the room breadcrumbs are amazing, it was put together so well. won't say much but it’s based on fairy-tale land!! we managed to complete it with 2 mins left, we didn't think we were gunna do it, but we did. staff are so very lovely too. I would 100% go back if I lived in the area. its great amount of fun at reasonable price!
